My Journey
I have always been drawn to the stories that have shaped us — the myths, legends, and archetypes that echo through human history — I find myself curious about what they look like when brought into the present. My work lives at the intersection of the ancient and the contemporary, reimagining mythology through a modern lens while exploring the full, unguarded range of human emotion.
Across digital and traditional mediums — acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, and the written word — I move between worlds freely, letting the subject guide the tools. Some stories ask for the layered texture of paint; others unfold best in pixels. What stays constant is my commitment to presence: the tension in a jaw, the softness around an eye, the way a creature holds its body when it thinks no one is watching. Portraits, to me, are acts of witness.
I make for fellow creatives, for the ones who grew up on stories and never quite left them — who still feel the pull of something older and bigger than everyday life, but want to see it reflected in faces that look like now.
